Newongoba

Ndobe Samuel, professionally known as Heavy J, was born on 23rd December 2002 in Kamuli District, Uganda. He is the son of Waiswa Francis and Bakita Elvaida, from Kitayunjwa in Kamuli Municipality. Heavy J began his education at Kitayunjwa Parents School, where he completed his Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE). His journey into music began in 2016, marking the start of a promising career in the Ugandan music industry. Over the years, he has recorded several songs, including Nkwenda, Paka Kumakya, Face to Me, and his latest release, Newongoba. He draws inspiration from renowned Ugandan dancehall artist Ziza Bafana, whose success motivated him to pursue music with passion and determination. With a growing catalog and a strong drive, Heavy J continues to establish himself as a rising talent in Uganda’s vibrant music scene
