Sheebah Karungi is a highly successful Ugandan singer, dancer, actress, and entrepreneur, known as the "Queen Sheebah," who rose from dancing for money as a teen to becoming Uganda's first female record label owner (Karma Music) after starting with the group Obsessions and launching hits like "Ice Cream". Born November 11, 1989, in Kawempe, Kampala, she overcame a challenging upbringing with a single mother to achieve massive success, winning numerous awards and becoming a leading female artist in East Africa.
