Musician Jowy Landa has opened up about why she no longer wants close friendships with fellow female artists, following a series of past misunderstandings.
While speaking during a performance in Kampala, the singer shared her frustration, saying her experiences with women in the industry have left her feeling disappointed.
“I’m no longer interested in having female friends. I don’t want to be close to them again. I feel it’s better with male friends because they are more genuine,” she said.
Jowy added that she is now focused on building a circle of relationships she believes are more honest, supportive, and reliable.
In the past, the singer had been associated with artists like Ava Peace and Nandor Love, but those friendships reportedly ended on bad terms. Her remarks have since sparked conversations among fans, with many weighing in on friendships, trust, and competition within the music industry.
