Former NTV Uganda presenter Faridah Nakazibwe has made it clear that she has no plans to return to television, nearly three years after stepping away from the screen.
Nakazibwe left NTV Uganda in 2023 following a successful 17-year career that established her as one of Uganda’s most recognizable media personalities.
Since then, she has shifted her attention to raising her three children, running her businesses, and creating content on YouTube.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Nakazibwe explained that she feels her journey in television has come to an end and that she is satisfied with the direction her life has taken.
She noted that her decision to leave television opened doors for younger broadcasters to step into the industry and build their own careers.
According to her, many talented presenters have already filled the spaces she once occupied, making a comeback unnecessary.
Nakazibwe also revealed that her current priorities revolve around expanding her online presence and growing her business ventures rather than returning to traditional media platforms.
Although she is no longer active on television, the veteran broadcaster remains a highly respected figure in Uganda’s media landscape, with a loyal audience built over nearly two decades of broadcasting experience.
