Fangone Forest boss Alien Skin has called on fellow Ugandan musicians to shift their attention back to music following the end of the campaign period. Throughout the recently concluded general elections, many artistes were actively involved in politics, travelling across the country alongside politicians to mobilize voters. However, Alien Skin believes that chapter has now closed and musicians should return to the studio and concentrate on their craft. In an interview with a local television station, the Sitya Danger hitmaker stressed that the political season is over and there should be no more excuses for inactivity in the music industry. He noted that with elections done, artistes must allow their music to define them rather than political affiliations. Alien Skin explained that political engagements diverted many musicians from creating and releasing music, resulting in slowed productivity. He emphasized that this trend should not continue. According to the Fangone Forest leader, this is the right time for artistes to work harder, stay consistent, and regain relevance through regular music releases instead of relying on politics or public sympathy.
