"Kampala-19-Jan MTN Uganda has issued an update regarding the delayed restoration of its Mobile Money services following a recent system disruption that affected transactions across the network. The telecom giant further advised customers experiencing delayed reversals or missing balances to remain patient as the reconciliation process continues. MTN added that affected customers do not need to report individual cases, as the system is automatically resolving pending transactions. Mobile Money services are widely used in Uganda for daily transactions including payments, transfers, and business operations.
