
Spice’s fans in Uganda have been given a boost after organisers confirmed that the Jamaican dancehall star will still perform in the country, but at a later date.
Uganda is set to hold its presidential and general elections on 15th January 2026, a development that led to the postponement of the much-anticipated concert.
In an official statement, the organisers announced that the Safari Beats Concert, featuring the award-winning Queen of Dancehall, Spice, which was originally scheduled for December 6th, 2025, has not been cancelled but postponed.
“The Safari Beats Concert, featuring the award-winning Queen of Dancehall, Spice from Jamaica, originally scheduled for December 
6th, 2025, has not been cancelled but postponed. The new concert date will be announced after the general elections,” the statement read.
Fans have been assured that all preparations remain in place and that Spice is still committed to performing in Uganda. Organisers encouraged music lovers to remain patient as they finalize the new date and other arrangements.
Spice, known for her energetic performances and global hits, enjoys a massive following in Uganda, and anticipation for her concert remains high.
