Pallaso, born Pius Mayanja (Sept 5, 1987), is a prominent Ugandan singer, songwriter, producer, and videographer known for Afrobeats, Dancehall, and RnB, hailing from a famous musical family (brothers Jose Chameleone, Weasel). He started with Leone Island, moved to the US, returned to Uganda to form "Team Good Music," and rose to fame with hits like "Amaaso," becoming a major force in East African music with his energetic performances and relatable lyrics. Early Life & Musical Roots Born: Pius Mayanja on September 5, 1987, in Kampala, Uganda, to Gerald and Prossy Mayanja. Family: He comes from a musical dynasty, with brothers Jose Chameleone, Weasel, and the late AK47 also being musicians. Education: Attended schools in Uganda (MengO, Kasawo) and later the US (Pennsylvania High School).
