Dream Entertainment is a Ugandan music duo made up of two talented and passionate artists, Waiswa Fahim and Okwakol Derrick, professionally known for their soulful sound and vocal strength. Waiswa Fahim, born in 2003 at Rubaga Hospital, grew up in Namungoona, Kampala. He began pursuing music in 2018 while in Senior One, driven by a deep passion for artistic expression. Fahim is a marvelous vocalist whose music style blends R&B, Afro, and Soul, characterized by smooth melodies and emotional delivery. His upbringing in Namungoona played a big role in shaping his musical identity and creativity. Okwakol Derrick, popularly known as Derry Salphur, is Iteso by tribe and was born at Makindye Barracks Hospital. He also started developing his talent in mid-2018, focusing on songwriting and singing. Derry Salphur brings versatility to the duo, performing Dancehall, R&B, Afro, and Soul music, adding energy and lyrical depth to their sound. Together, they form Dream Entertainment, a duo united by a shared vision, passion for music, and complementary styles. Their music blends smooth vocals, meaningful lyrics, and modern African rhythms, positioning them as promising voices in Uganda’s contemporary music scene.
