Sasha Delta, born Asiimwe Shamim in 2003 in Kamuli District, is a rising Ugandan singer and songwriter known for her dynamic blend of ragga, dancehall, and afrobeats music. With a sweet, captivating voice and energetic delivery, Sasha Delta is quickly establishing herself as one of the promising female artists in Uganda’s contemporary music scene. Sasha Delta was born and raised in Kamuli District, Uganda. She attended Kyabazinga College for her O-Level education before completing her A-Level studies at Kamuli Progressive College. Her passion for music began at a young age and continued to grow throughout her school years, shaping her journey into a professional recording artist. Sasha Delta gained recognition with her hit single “Personal Person”, produced by Sir Cofix at White House Records. The song highlights her strong vocal ability and unique fusion of ragga and afrobeats rhythms, earning her attention from music lovers across Uganda. She also collaborated with Pro Vyda on the song “Sibalaba,” produced by Lexmore and Sir Cofix. This collaboration expanded her reach and showcased her versatility in the Ugandan dancehall and afrobeats genre. Earlier in her career, Sasha Delta recorded a fusion teaser titled “Nkwegomba”, produced by Producer Audio Voice. Although the track was not officially released, it marked an important milestone in her musical development. Sasha Delta’s music is rooted in Ugandan dancehall, ragga, and afrobeats, combining rhythmic flows, melodic hooks, and relatable lyrics. Her songs often reflect real-life experiences, love stories, and emotional journeys, making her music authentic and relatable to a broad audience.
