Winnie Nwagi (born Winnie Nakanwagi on July 20, 1989) is a popular Ugandan singer and songwriter known for hits like "Musawo" and "Fire Dancer," rising to fame after the talent show "Rated Next" led to a deal with Swangz Avenue. Despite a challenging youth, including dropping out of school and leaving home, she's built a successful career blending traditional Ugandan sounds with contemporary Afrobeat, becoming a major social media figure and sought-after performer in East Africa.
