Herman Basudde (December 5, 1958 – June 11, 1997) was a legendary Ugandan Kadongo Kamu musician known for his husky voice, poignant lyrics, and skilled guitar playing. Rising to fame in the 1980s, he addressed social injustices and everyday Ugandan struggles, becoming one of the country's most influential folk artists before dying in a car accident.
